Department Overview

The Professional Lending & Advice Contact Centre is a centralized telephone advice channel which is able to cost effectively reach TD Canada Trust customers and external prospects through various marketing and advertising initiatives. Recognizing that advice is the highest form of customer service, the Professional Lending & Advice Contact Centre uses a balanced scorecard approach between sales, customer service and productivity. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic individuals who are interested in being part of a team committed to superior customer service.

Job Description

In this role, you would provide specialized inbound sales & service related to customers’ credit needs including Loans, Lines of Credit, Mortgages, Credit Protection and various other Credit and TD Canada Trust products and services. You would also support specialized outbound campaigns related to Personal Lending and promote various TD Canada Trust products. You would deliver end-to-end fulfillment on various lending products and meet formalized objectives for sales, productivity and quality. You will provide consistent, legendary service to every customer by utilizing all available tools and resources, identify and act upon advice opportunities and refer clients to other appropriate business units within TD Canada Trust. You will receive extensive product and sales training as well as regular coaching to ensure your success in the role.



  • You have exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing advice.
  • You must be able to multi-task and demonstrate strong problem solving skills.
  • You must exhibit excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately process transactions.
  • Strong verbal and listening skills are essential for this position as well as a proven sales record.
  • Candidates must be enthusiastic team players and willing to take an active role in campaigns and business building initiatives.

Additional Information

Start Date: August 2018

Training: Minimum of 8 weeks of Full-Time mandatory training,

The In-Class Time is 7:30am to 3:30pm
The In-Class period is scheduled from August 20th through to September 20th, followed by RESL Training during the week of October 15th

Bilingual (English/French) positions available
