Department Overview

TD Wealth will launch a dedicated in-house financial advisory business for Mass Affluent clients with $100m to $750m in investable assets. These new advisors will help clients achieve financial wellness, addressing their daily financial needs, while leveraging critical planning tools in support of their long-term financial goals. Advisors will provide on-the-spot Managed Solutions, Insurance & Annuity solutions for Mass Affluent clients.
The role of the Information Analyst will be to support the Mass Affluent segment leveraging Salesforce, and other source data, to development and maintain Tableau based business intelligence reports that provide: insight into market & individual performance; staffing & market expansion analysis; executive level dashboards and qualitative commentary.

The Information Analyst II plans, creates, and maintains databases in support of departmental activities.

Job Description

l Supports team by integrating and translating all sources of information for reporting
l Delivers various aspects of research, analysis, design, support, and/or testing
l Performs work under minimal supervision and may provide coaching to others
Plans, creates, and maintains moderately complex databases in support of department activities to collect, manage and report
information required by management
l
l Works with users to ensure information reported meets user requests based on business requirements
l Completes data import/transfer and provides quality control of input by others
l Submits data to and from various Company and outside sources such as vendors, compliance agencies and business partners
Reviews data flow and provides experienced insight and recommendations to improve timeliness and quality of information
received
l
l Designs, prepares and distributes various standard reports and analyses
Reviews department requirements and suggests new reports based on developed knowledge of data and information needs of
users
l
l Reviews output to ensure accuracy and usefulness
l Audits databases for accuracy and consistency and ensures users are aware of the data components available for reporting
l Supports data integrity to ensure data is adequately backed up and data recovery procedures are effective

Requirements

l Bachelors degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
l 2-4 Years of related experience
l Background in specific department’s activities required
l Demonstrate strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite with database design and troubleshooting skills
l Network knowledge, Visual Basic preferred
l Ability to analyze laws and regulations (if applicable)
l Ability to build solid internal and external relationships
l Demonstrated project management skills
l Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to provide clear and articulate written reports
